110 napkin folds in 3.58 minutes

The II semester students of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration, Mangalore in association with 'The Elixir' Club have created a record of making 110 napkin folds in 3.58 minutes. The event, ‘Servilletero’ was organised on 12th of February 2011, Saturday at the ‘Time Out cafeteria’ of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration at 12.30 P.M. The classic napkin folds such as Bishop’s Mitre, Cock’s Comb, Joker’s Cap, French Lily etc, along with innovative folds like Triangle, Lover’s Knot, Pendant, and Basket etc.were part of the display. The event was co-ordinated by Mr. Varghese Johnson, Senior Lecturer of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration. The event was recorded and judged by Mr. Atul Vijay and Mr.Haneef Kamal, lecturers from Motimahal College of Hotel Management.
